This includes chanting and blessing by Buddhist monks, lightling of holy candles, sprinkling of holy water, cake cutting, opening a bottle of champagne and an exotic Thai luncheon on the Santiburi balcony overlooking this tropical paradise..

The Santiburi Tradition
This is a full ceremony, which involves the chanting, and blessing by Buddhist monks. This will normally take place from a suitable location of your choice. Locations are varied, from Sala Thai, on the beach, in the garden or even around the pool area. This is a Samui style ceremony set up for the bride and groom.

The format of the ceremony is as follows:

1. The long drum dance procession arrives at the room of the bridal couple to escort the couple to the ceremonial venue.
2. The procession arrives at the ceremonial venue.
3. The bridal couple sits side by side at the bridal table.
4. Buddhist religious rite begins with the chanting and blessing by 5 monks.
   • Lighting the holy candles by the bridal couple
   • Sprinkling of holy water by the monks
   • Blessing and pouring of holy water by guests and hotel management staff
   • The bridal couple exchange rings (if applicable)
5. The bridal couple offers alms to the monks.
6. The bridal couple offers food to the monks.
7. The monk takes their leave after lunch.
8. Bridal couple plant their “coconut love tree” at the resort
9. Wedding registration . If required.
10. The bridal couples cut the cake and open a bottle of Champagne
11. The bridal couple has their private Thai luncheon or private dinner at their choice of location.

1. The long drum dance procession arrives at the room of the bridal couple to escort the couple to the ceremonial venue.
2. The procession arrives at the ceremonial venue.
3. The bridal couple site side by side at the ceremonial venue.
4. The bridal couple receives blessing and pouring of holy water by the guest and senior hotel employees.
5. Bridal couple exchange rings. (if applicable)
6. Bridal couple plant their “coconut love tree” at the resort
7. Wedding registration. If required
8. The bridal couple cut the cake and open bottle of champagne
9. The bridal couple has their private luncheon or dinner at their choice of location
